About

DÓ is an abbreviation of my name, with the accent on the ó symbolising the continuous development I strive for, both personally and creatively.

I'm an all-round creative based in Amsterdam, with a strong focus on marketing strategies, brand identities, and visual communication. My background combines  hands-on experience as an all-round stylist with studies at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI), where I specialised in Fashion & Visual Cultures, Brand Identities, and Marketing Strategies.

I worked as a creative and director intern at MediaMonks Amsterdam, contributing to campaigns for brands like BMW, HP, Chivas, Nike, Danone, ABN AMRO, KWF, and Bumble. Currently, I’m finishing my Master’s in Film & Photographic Studies at Leiden University.

My visual language is best described as harmonic and artisanal. I’m particularly drawn to social themes, such as deconstructing the male gaze and breaking taboos surrounding the female body, including menstruation, the hormonal cycle, and physical illnesses. These topics often inform and inspire my creative work, both conceptually and visually.

I’m known for my ambitious mindset, sharp eye for detail, and ability to bring ideas to life, from concept to execution. I have experience in art direction (both image and film), facilitating creative workshops, and developing strategic creative concepts.
